Hi Everyone!

Thank you for all the support you’ve given to 12ø over the years! 

We have decided that we will no longer work together as collective and just be friends, as our lives are taking different directions. After 8 years of working together, with members coming and going, many phases of the collective, we are grateful for the time the collective gave us to develop, explore and experiment, and meet so many wonderful people across the artist-led/small organisation scene. From 30/30 to backend, fresh n’ frozen to did you pack this bag yourself? we’re proud of the work that we’ve been able to do together, and we couldn’t have done that work without your help, interest, support, and participation. 

30/30 is not over!
Beginning in 2023, 30/30 will be hosted and facilitated by Artquest, participation will be free, and participants will also be able to access peer mentoring and network support. To find out when registration for 30works30days opens, subscribe to the Artquest email newsletter or follow on Twitter.

backend code of conduct

backend project began in 2019 to share and critically discuss experiences, opinions, and ideas about systemic issues that have a huge impact on artist-led organisations but often go publicly unacknowledged. This took the form of a series of conversations held in Liverpool, Glasgow, Wakefield, and London highlighting the lack of accountability in artist-led organisations, and were led by facilitators and contributors whose research, work, and life experiences spoke directly to key issues in artist-led organisations, including inequality, structural racism, harassment, accessibility, and transphobia. These conversations were collated into a Code of Conduct document of best practices. You can find links to all our contributors & read the backend code of conduct here.
