Sarah Boulton

  • Sarah is an artist who uses words and occasionally images to create openings in imaginations. She makes works and pieces that are and that feel spread out across time and sometimes space. Most of them are still near their beginnings. They are often sequential, and transformative, similar to a fairytale. She presents things that are suggestions of a different part of the experience (or the work) that she has created and is really attracted to leaving things, narratives and facts open, possible, elsewhere and alone. She graduated from Slade School of Art in 2015, has spoken and shown works at Cell Project Space, ICA, Artarea, Unna Way and is soon to be expecting her first solo show in America.
